San Francisco Chiropractor
Updates from Dr. Lloyd at Rincon Chiropractic
I’ve been practicing chiropractic ever since I graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 2002. During chiropractic college, I was very active in extracurricular clubs for my own enhancement of my technique and my science understanding. I was the Vice President of the Gonstead technique club, and Vice President of the chiropractic neurology club.
That was a great experience, and I think that if you put your heart and dedication to a career, especially during college days, you should dedicate yourself to do more than the norm. But getting involved in extracurricular clubs was only scratching the surface. The really valuable thing I did while in school was that I worked for the colleges continuing education department. This means that, during my 4 years of chiropractic college, I personally attended more than 1000 hours of chiropractic continuing education programs on the weekend.
I took courses in spinal trauma from automobile accidents. I took a certificate series on chiropractic spinal extremities adjustment and management. I took literature review courses over and over until I could recite the instructor’s jokes right on cue. I became Webster technique certified in case I needed to turn a breech baby. I learned new techniques by work shopping technique with doctors working in the field. I even helped teach certain classes on neurological examination.
After school was over, I started practices in Sonoma and San Francisco. I got exposed to different styles of practices over the years, and this has shaped my professional approach. I’ve evolved, and I’ve learned.
I joined Rincon Chiropractic in San Francisco in 2014 because of our location in the heart of the Bay Area San Francisco tech scene. I still live in Sonoma, and I’m raising a family there, but San Francisco’s East Cut neighborhood provides a balance of urban excitement with my Sonoma agricultural agrarian pace of life.
This is my personal blog. It’s the same website I’ve maintained since 2005. If you’re looking for me, you can find me at Rincon Chiropractic.
