Services Performed

You’re looking for relief from your neck pain and back pain. You need to make an informed decision about the chiropractic office you are using. We offer the following services:

Chiropractic Adjustments (Spinal Manipulation): The normal chiropractic adjustments across the profession is called the diversified adjustment. We do this in our office, and it’s what we do best. When performing an adjustment on you, we strive to make it as effective and as comfortable for you as possible with a very precise delivery. With the help of your functional X-rays, we can do just that. We’ve spent countless hours in chiropractic labs honing our technique to be the very best at this. Dr. Lloyd was actually the vice president and president of the chiropractic college’s Gonstead Technique club, which is an advanced form of diversified adjusting that hold the art to its highest standards. You benefit by healing faster, and feeling better sooner.

Extremity Adjustments: If you’ve ever injured your ankle, you notice that you have a tendency to roll that ankle a little too easily. You’re not alone with this, and this is why we have worked hard with the delivery of extremity adjustments and your management of extremity injuries. These extremities include:

  • Wrists
  • Elbows
  • Shoulder
  • Collar Bone
  • Scapula
  • Ribs
  • Feet
  • Ankles
  • Knees
  • Hips

Low Force Adjustments: Sometimes, you aren’t ready for a forceful adjustment. Or, after we examine you, we determine that it wouldn’t be right for you. That’s when we use low force techniques to make you feel better and to help you heal better. We use a popular instrument technique called the Activator Methods Technique where we can deliver a very precise adjustment to a part of your spine or extremity, and activating neurological receptors to help influence better movement. We also have a chiropractic table with special sections in it that allow you to rest comfortably on the table while we work with “drops” to help move your spine the way it needs to move.

We also use a variety of upper cervical chiropractic techniques in St. George. We have a special section built into our table that allows for a toggle adjustment to the atlas. This is a great technique for you if you’ve been having headaches, and it works wonderfully when indicated to balance out your spine for overall function.

Differential Diagnosis Examination: If you are in pain, or have had an injury, it’s important that you or your doctor understand what is going wrong, and what to do to make you feel and heal better. Every new patient in our office receives a thorough examination. We check your nerve system, your muscle and skeletal systems, and we combine this check with a regular chiropractic examination. Along with the exam procedures, we have digital X-Rays for you if they are needed. The Digital X-Rays help us get a quick look at your spine, and with our functional X-Ray techniques, We can see exactly how the bones are moving and we can see exactly the area that needs to be adjusted for the best in chiropractic care.

Functional Rehabilitation Exercises: If you’ve had an injury, then you should know that are in great risk of developing chronic pain and disability from your injury. This is why we offer functional rehabilitative exercises for you. We help identify areas of weakness, and give you specific exercises to strengthen and coordinate poorly functioning areas. This gives you better instructions than the generic “Strengthen your core” exercises that you usually get from most chiropractic offices and physical therapy clinics.

2nd Opinion Examinations: Sometimes you go to a doctor’s office, and he gives you a care plan that sounds excessive, or the treatment that you receive isn’t working well for you.  In our office, you are welcome to come to us for a 2nd opinion. If you need this, we will sit down with you to talk about your current condition, we will discuss your current treatment, do a physical examination, maybe some X-Rays, and we will give you are recommendations for care.  In the mail, you will receive a comprehensive report that discusses your condition.  This service costs $249.
