How Safe is Chiropractic Care?
If you are concerned about the safety of chiropractic care, Here is a link that was passed on to us that shows the safety of chiropractic treatment and compares it to the safety of chiropractic’s alternative: medicine.
Concerned about safety? Chiropractic care is very safe. In our office, the worst side effect we’ve ever experienced is increased soreness after an adjustment, and this is usually because we are moving bones that haven’t moved well in a while. The soreness that you get after getting an adjustment is usually compared to the soreness that you get after a good workout. Of course, we always aim to be conservative with our care to avoid any hurt.
As with any effective treatment that is done to the body, there are some risks. When you are working on the neck, there are a lot of delicate nerves and blood vessels. The person working on you needs to have a masterful command of human anatomy, physiology, and neurology to make it as safe as possible. We never want to put a force into a part of the spine that doesn’t need it, and we never want to jeopardize any other part of the body.
I would take the risks with chiropractic care over the risks of medical care any day.

It might sound silly but aligning the body does a lot. I have had pain for many years just not paying any attention to it. I’ve been working on aligning my body over the last few months, not only did I grow about an inch but Im not feeling as much pain.
