Do you have arthritis in your knees or feet? Do you over pronate your feet when you walk, or do your ankle joints feel sloppy?
Ignoring foot, ankle and knee problems can accelerate the wear and tear on the joints in your body, and can make your body ache far too early in life. Poor foot and ankle biomechanics can hurt your physical performance too.
We will be doing a free evaluation, screening, and workshop inside Pharmaca in Sonoma next month. After a short class on how the feet, ankles and knees work together, we will be doing some hands-on instruction and evaluation of your lower extremities and some treatment demonstration. Recommendations for self-care and professional care will be given too.
Also we will be introducing a special exercise that you do with your feet that will help to stabilize your whole balance system, improve your posture, and will help prevent foot problems in the future. Hardly anyone knows about this simple exercise, yet everyone should be doing it.
If you choose to receive the sample treatment, you will notice an immediate improvement in the way you walk, and the way your whole body feels. Runners are encouraged to take this for a test drive!
This workshop will be held inside the Sonoma Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy, located at 303 West Napa Street.

At the start of the class, and overview and instruction will be given. After that, we will so hands-on arthritis screening and performance evaluations with sample treatment and recommendations for care.
